The turbulence subsides...

It has been an unexpectedly turbulent year.

First, there was the discovery of a thread on the web that lead eventually and haphazardly to the news that she is now a mum. Then, there was her surprise appearance on the other side of an invisible wall in Sydney, 6 weeks ago. Both things caused more than a few ripples in my world.

However, as the distance from those events has increased, the turbulence has subsided and life has returned to normal once more.

I suspect the story isn't quite over yet and I'll stumble into another emotional storm. Who knows how? Who knows when?

Time now, however, to enjoy other things.
