Thanks, mate. There is a sense of joy, but it is not quite like winning a World Cup match. The sobering reality is that 46.7% of my compatriots still voted for The Rodent and they are all kind of glum. Poor bastards.
This editorial well sums up the need to keep Rudd accountable.
My secret hope is that the Liberals try to out-flank him on the environment and as a result force an arms-race of pro-environmental politics - that would be a good result indeed.
